Excellent service all round. Antonio did an amazing job cooking for 15 girls on a hen do!! So much care and attention went into every single dish and he (and Lucy who helped organise the night) catered for everyone’s tastes. Nothing was too much trouble. He (and the very lovely waitresses!) worked very discreetly in the kitchen. The food itself was absolutely top quality with very generous portions and very tasty. It was amazing!! It’s clear that Antonio loves cooking as this was really reflected in the food he cooked for us! I will certainly be recommending at your table and Antonio to everyone who is hosting a dinner party and doesn’t fancy cooking.

Chef Antonio Acone prepared the most amazing surprise birthday meal for my husband, myself and 6 friends, the food and presentation was delightful, our guests were suitably impressed with the fine dining experience. He commanded my kitchen with minimal fuss and tidied after. The only point I felt could have been handled better was the serving of drinks, in hindsight I should have asked, but I ended up running around serving drinks, if I’d have known I would have made arrangements to have drinks available in our dining room. Aside from that point, I would highly recommend booking a Chef ‘At your Table, it was an extravagant treat, but I’d love to do it again, I’d better start saving.

He went above and beyond. He came a little early so he could meet my oldest daughter who wanted to say hello. He left me the extra dessert as he knew I had not had dessert in awhile due to the dairy intoralance. He was warm and friendly clean and tidy.

Everybody was really impressed by Michael’s food, especially my son, whose big day it was, could not stop praising Michael’s dishes.

It was a wonderful surprise to be given your expertise as a gift for my 70th Birthday dinner. What a unique way to spend an evening with my family at the same time as enjoying a superb meal prepared, cooked and served by yourself. You provided us all with a most memorable evening especially myself who did not have to lift a finger, not even to clear up! I would never have believed that it could be done in such a quiet, calm and professional manner in my kitchen. Marcelo is a very talented chef with a wealth of knowledge. He gave us the most delicious and beautiful food and we, and all our guests had the most wonderful evening. He is very friendly and happy to discuss ideas and menus choices and he listens to your needs. I would definitely recommend him, nothing was too much bother. We will most certainly be having Marcelo back for any future events. We were catering to a private dinner party for 18 in our home where our dining table is open plan to the kitchen so we could all see Marcelo and his wonderful team at work. We are very grateful for making my 40th a huge success and a most memorable one.

Redmond Hayward is an improbably good cook to be found in a small neighbourhood restaurant in Sheen. The food here is very good indeed: well-seasoned, precisely cooked and immaculately presented.

I recently hired Antonio for a business lunch I wanted to host at home for four people. What Can I say? It was simply marvellous! Antonio took into account all the specifics I asked him in terms of food preparation as one of the guests and myself had a particular diet but also in terms of the arrangements we made so the service could be as discrete as possible, right there his experience within luxury hotels showed very clearly – Many thanks Antonio and I am sure we will work together again very soon.

He was pleasant and friendly with my boy (AGED 5) who helped him cook – which was nice. The place was spotless after and he made us an extra “pre-starter” which was nice. He also gave us tips on our kitchenware.

He wasn’t as helpful on the phone initially, but all OK in the end, For example, I thought that we could get him to cook anything we wanted, but he said no, only what was on the sample menu. Maybe that was my mis-understanding, but I thought the sample menu was meant to be a guide. Also, when I asked about wine pairings, he was taken aback a bit. He suggested my friend (who knows a lot about wine) should do it, but could do it if we wanted to. It didn’t seem that he was keen (or he would have to ask someone else). This was surprising given that he effectively had a set menu.

he asked the best way to get to my house, which is fair enough, but didn’t seem to know where it was close to. Google maps would have helped him.

The food was very good, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the dessert; something which is his speciality.

Therefore, overall, a very good experience. I would repeat again, but, I would sample a different chef.
