Enjoying a seven-course degustation menu by Ellie Mistry was definitely the highlight of our trip to the Hawkesbury. As we arrived at the accommodation, the first thing that hit us was how beautifully the table had been set. Next up were the aromas of all the dishes Ellie and her team of two assistants were cooking up. The food was exquisite with dukkah-crusted lamb and eggplant pickle as the showstoppers. A special mention of Ellie’s attention to detail, which includes tailor-making the degustation menu based on the guest’s needs — from detox to decadent – and even cultural background!

Hi Ellie, Everything went great with Redmond. The food was excellent (just as we would have had in a 5 star restaurant), and Redmond was lovely. It was a perfect way to celebrate a special birthday.
